The building of the new Sports centre in Rimini was the citizens reaction to an emergency risen in 1996 with the new regulations of the Italian Basket Federation that stated that in case of failure to adhere to the new norms, the local team would have to fall back to a lower division.
Being a public work built and managed, by agreement, privately, the main objective of the project has been the identification of typological and technical solutions that guarantee a correct equilibrium between the activity requirements, size of intervention and available resources for the realization and management.

The levels of acoustic quality and comfort are high, with total darkening in the stalls, with a rational use of the spaces and walk way routes also for operators responsible for setting up stands and stage sets.
Today the “105 STADIUM” is run by expert professionals specialized in the management of multifunctional areas and in the organization of events such as basketball matches, concerts and musicals.
